Playground has had very early experience in the collective buying space. We built the first Canadian "Groupon competitor", TeamBuy, which has become one of the most popular Canadian group buying businesses. Our goal was to create a tool that would help accelerate these companies to the very competitive market. We have since come across many niches in the space and have built additional customized tools to cater to the different types of collective buying businesses. Playground has consulted on over a dozen collective buying businesses from which it has gained a tremendous amount of insight into the industry.
