Things
UX and Design
The site is simple, playful and has a minimum barrier to entry for the users. When the users land on the page, they see a provocative topic and can type in their funny response to the topic right away and read what hundreds of other users have contributed to the site.
From there, it's just one more click to allow fans of the game to bask in the accolades of their peers by sharing their witty lines though Twitter or Facebook.

Development
In an effort to keep the site family-friendly and semi-PG, we built a custom CMS where our client could monitor and approve the responses. We also wanted to take advantage of the content management system and make it be more than just a destination for approving comments. We added a section displaying statistics about which questions are getting the most reaction, a section for editing content such as questions, images and quotes, a section for collecting email submissions and another for contest entries to the site. This way our client could access all things Things…™ related at once. We filed that one under Things…™that make our clients happy!
